We live in such a fast-paced world full of distractions. and we understand the toll it takes on our mind and body. That's why we look to nature to regenerate us and we have the Stoic philosophy to guide us.

OUR STORY

Sunny + Stoic

According to the dictionary, a stoic is one apparently or professedly indifferent to pleasure or pain. And it defines a sunny person as cheerful and happy.

Sounds contradictory, right? Not really.

We usually think of emotionless people as cold and heartless and unable to feel positive emotions. But Stoics aren't devoid of feelings; they are just not a slave to them. And the goal for Stoics, like everyone else, is simply to be happy. Sincerely and genuinely happy. ☼

OUR MISSION

Stoicism has a lot of very inspirational and empowering lessons. And our goal is to make these lessons approachable, light, and friendly. We aim to change the perception of Stoicism as something pessimistic and dark.

We want to change its imagery from philosopher busts to nature-inspired designs. After all, Stoicism stands for "living in agreement with Nature."

Through our wearable and functional designs, we want everyone to have a daily reminder of the importance of:

• Mindfulness
• Being present
• Compassion
• Rational optimism (not toxic positivity)
• Being happy regardless of our situation ♥

ENVIRONMENTAL EFFORTS

For the Planet

Part of practicing this philosophy is being mindful of our impact on the environment. Here are some things we do to lessen our impact:

• All of our products are Made-to-Order.
  

This ensures that products are manufactured intentionally, avoiding mass production that leads to waste. This is why shipping times can be long and we are very grateful for your patience. :)

• We partner with an ethical supplier.

Our partner print provider cares for their employees and the environment as much as we do. This is why our products are priced slightly higher. Despite our supplier's higher prices compared to competitors, we decided to go with them because we see how they value their people and the planet.

• For our clothing items, we use Gildan products.

The brand is known for its Genuine Responsibility® program which focuses on producing garments using renewable energy and less water than the industry average.

We know those are just a few things right now and we can do so much better. We hope you trust us when we say we are taking it one step at a time. Here are our future plans for a more sustainable:

• We plan to replace all plastic packaging into biodegradable alternatives.
  
• For apparel, we plan to switch to more sustainable alternatives like fabric that uses recycled materials/organic cotton.
• We are open to suggestions! Let us know if you have eco-friendly ideas for us, we'd love to hear them. 🌱
